Goals and Features of the Course

This Master of Education degree program prepares teachers and specialists already holding elementary school, junior high school, and/or Special Education certificates to work in the area of children with disabilities. The program develops the skills needed to work with students with disabilities.
The department of Special Education also offers teachers a variety of opportunities to work with students with disabilities (and their parents) at the Special Education Center founded by the Fukuoka University of Education. This work is not a practicum, but is based and is closely integrated with the course work.
