To improve creativity in students by uniting knowledge, technique and awareness

Goals and Features of the Course

This course serves three functions:

  1. to provide the basic teaching skills and educational theory for elementary school teacher training
  2. to acquire the basic musical knowledge and performance skills needed for  teaching music
  3.  to cultivate a rich environment and an aesthetic sensitivity to music that is necessary in flexibly dealing with the various aspects in music education today

Vocal, Piano, Orchestral Instruments, Japanese Traditional Instruments and Vocal, Choir, Orchestra, Conducting, Multi-Media, Music Theory, History of Western Music, History of Japanese Music, Ethno-Musicology, Theory of Harmony, Music Composition, Research in Music Education, Seminar (Music Performance, Musicology, Music Education)
